The unfortunate truth is that the drug screening industry cannot provide immediate answers [to employers seeking advice about their drug testing policies] because they, too, are seeking guidance and clarity. The once-standard policy advice – simply state that your company does not allow the use of marijuana because it is still a Schedule I drug and still illegal under federal law – no longer applies.
