Developers of the First Commercial Cannabis Breathalyzer Achieve ISO 13485 and 9001 Certifications
FREMONT, Calif. – June 19, 2024 – Hound Labs, Inc., developers of advanced breath testing technologies, announces it has passed an extensive audit and been granted ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 certifications. This achievement marks an important milestone in providing external validation of the Company’s manufacturing processes, customer support capabilities, and long-standing commitment to quality.

Since launching the HOUND® CANNABIS BREATHALYZER – Collect + Send1, Hound Labs has shipped hundreds of commercial systems to employer customers in more than 25 states across the country. Breath testing is becoming a preferred testing solution for some employers in states like California and Washington that have laws limiting employers’ ability to use metabolite-based cannabis testing methods like urine and hair. Employers in more than half of the industries recognized by the U.S. Census Bureau are actively using the Hound® solution to help detect and deter workday cannabis use.
